Heeled Brogues are more formal and I think would work beautifully with a pencil skirt... worth trying out for the office ;-)

City of water, City of Canals.....'VENICE'

I absolutely love all things Italian...their cars, food, fashion, their history... and Oh, their men aren't too bad either...*wink-wink*

Venice, which is located in the North East of Italy, has got to be my favorite city in the world... It is renowned for it's beauty, it's unique setting and it's amazing architecture.  Venice is known to most as the "Floating city" or the "City of Canals", as the city is completely surrounded by water.

Described by 'New York Times' as "undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man"... I concur ! I loved every minute of my stay there and will definitely be going back with my man this time. ;-)

Getting around Venice:

Gondola's are the most traditional and most common means of transportation around the city. I took a lovely ride through the city on one of these on a beautiful afternoon, I believe there is no better way to explore this amaizing Renaissance city.

Oh and then there's the food...

Those that know me know of my passion for food. In Italy food is love, so I was in Goumet Heaven. Italian food is yummy, non-pretentious comfort food... I could so live there ! Pizza, Pasta, Vino...what else can a girl need ?

If you are ever looking for a romantic holiday abroad... try out, Venice. You'll love it, I did.

The World is my Canvas...

A canvas is a platform used to make beautiful masterpieces. It is said that "the life that we live on this world is the most beautiful masterpiece of all''.

I am an African-child who has recently discovered the beauty that is the world. So with my passport in hand, I am ready to Explore, Dream and Discover... I am setting out to paint my canvas with beautiful memories. I read once that, "Once you have traveled, the Voyage never ends...the memories live on, the mind can never break off from the journey."

"Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind" ~Sereca

I am passionate about traveling. It's an Adventure for me, I love everything about it. The Journey, Exploring different Sceneries, Cultures, Languages, the Food and oh, the Fashion of cause. ;-) I believe travel broadens ones prespective and outlook on the world and on the endless possibilities. Once you have traveled you get to see just how Similar yet so Different we all are as a people.

Discover the beauty that is around you, in your own space, in your own town or country, there's always something new and wonderful to appreciate. Sometimes just a change in attitude can allow you to see and appreciate things a little differently.

Get out there... Live, Explore, Dream and Discover !
